Swiss Watch Works is a leading watch refurbishing company based in Braintree, Essex, UK. We specialise in polishing, lapping, and laser welding, with a focus on restoring Audemars Piguet, Rolex, and Patek Philippe timepieces to their original factory specifications.

Services
At Swiss Watch Works, we use lapping, laser welding (where required) and a final polish to bring back the brilliance of your watch. Our state-of-the-art machinery ensures a perfect finish, removing minimal material to the micron level to preserve the original lines.
Lapping
Our lapping service offers expert refinement via our high end Swiss lapping machines along with vertical and horizontal belt grinders. We employ high grade Swiss abrasive discs and belts to guarantee uniform surfaces. Utilizing adjustable tables and lapping trolleys, we achieve the exact finish your components need.
Bracelet Restoration
Expert Rolex bracelet restoration, offering services from basic polishing and brushing to comprehensive strip downs, laser welding, and re-pinning. Our skilled technicians can revive over-polished Rolex clasp coronets to factory specifications without the need for clasp replacement, ensuring your timepiece retains its original charm.
Laser Welding
Our laser welding service focuses on adding metal to over polished cases, bracelets and bezels etc to bring them back to their original factory specifications. We utilize premium 316L and 904L stainless steel wire. Laser welding is also available for 18K yellow, white, and rose gold watches. Our gold wire is made from OEM spare links to ensure a perfect match to precious metal Rolex, Audermars Piguet and Patek Philippe watches.
Servicing
Movement servicing for your Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Audemars Piguet watches in our fully kitted out workshop, equipped with the finest Swiss tools. We pride ourselves on offering a vast selection of original manufacturers' parts, ensuring your timepiece receives the highest quality care.
Polishing
Our polishing service provides a gentle yet effective procedure aimed safeguarding edges and chamfers while improving the overall appearance of your watch. With the use of our top of the range Swiss machinery, along with specialized mops, wheels, and compounds, we guarantee a flawless polished finish.
Dial & Hand Restoration
We offer expert dial restoration services; gilt, matte and modern gloss high-end dial refinishing options available. We have a huge selection of dial clichés; from 1950's Rolex, to 2025 Audemars Piguet, accurate down to the most microscopic serif. We also provide original tritium (both Zinc Sulfide & Zinc Silicate) and radium relumes to both hands and dials.
